John Casper is a native to the Tidewater area and graduated from Maury High School. After graduating from the Virginia Military Institute in 2004 with a BA in English, John served as Assistant Director of Admissions for VMI. In July of 2009 John accepted the position of Youth Pastor at AHBC. He is also earning a Master of Divinity at Regent University.

John and Lauren were married in 2005 and have a son, Tucker.
